What goes on at the Wokingham Youth Centre!
Monday:- Life Skills
The Life Skills project is helpful to teach us useful skills which will be helpful to us in later life.
Tuesday:- Duke of Edinburgh Awards
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a real adventure from beginning to end. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from. You just need to be aged between 14 and 24 and realise there’s more to life than sitting on a sofa watching life pass you by.
Wednesday:- My Life Project
Friday:- Youth Club
Wokingham Friday night drop-in is the place to be if your aged 13-19. Friday between 6:30pm-9pm, it is a safe place for young people to come, meeting their friends, do a few activities, get to know their local youth workers or just chill out. We have a selection of widely trained staff who run workshops from, drugs and sexual health, cookery skills, moped mechanics to dance and performance. If you come down on a Friday night you can find yourself playing cards with your mates, being challenge to game of pool, getting involved in our weekly dodge ball tournaments, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or even planning a week residential away to another country.
We have so much fun on Friday nights, why don’t you come and join us!
