Twyford Youth Centre is a vibrant and busy youth facility for young people aged 13-19 in Twyford and surrounding areas.

Monday Nights – Senior Youth Club

Senior Youth Club is for young people aged 14-19 with an exciting and challenging programme – no two weeks are ever the same!

From sexual health sessions, DJ-ing, sports, music production, videoing andcooking, to sessions on drugs, alcohol and health issues – whilst also giving young people the chance to meet their friends and socialise, Senior Youth Club is the place to be on a Monday night in Twyford!

Wednesday Night – Junior Youth Club

For young people aged 11 – 14 – Wednesday night sees young people playing sport, cooking, playing team games, doing music production and learning to DJ…

Wednesday night is a lively atmosphere where all young people are welcome to join in.

Thursday Nights – Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

A brand new group has started up to allow the young people of Twyford the chance to challenge themselves in working on their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.  The weekly session include training on camping, walking, map-reading, outside cooking and first aid skills to help with the expedition secion, as well as supporting the participants to do their volunteering, skill and physical recreation sections of the Award.

“I haven’t been going to DofE for that long but what I’ve been here for it’s been great.  I’ve learnt to do team building activities with others in the group, it’s been good fun.” 

“I have found it very enjoyable, and I feel I have already learnt some helpful skills, and I would definatley recommend DofE!”

Twyford Youth Centre also puts on other projects in the holidays and at other times- such as babysitting courses, art projects, one off events including street art and It’s a knockout – check the news pages for the latest events!
