SILVERDALE CYCLES Bike Workshop

Silverdale Cycles is an amazing project based at Silverdale Youth Centre.  The bike workshop has been running now for around 15 years and in that time has trained many many young mechanics – in fact you can’t go into a bikeshop in Reading or Wokingham that doesn’t have a  mechanic who learned their stuff at Silverdale Cycles.  Martin our mechanic is on hand in the workshop to help.  In the bikeshop you can learn to mend your bike, learn mechanic skills. help others with your skills, work with customers and learn ordering for the retail side of the shop, meet new friends with the same interests as you and receive the Young Mechanics Award .  This award is accredited by us to show what skills and knowledge you’ve learned and also comes with a free hoodie and discount in the shop on completion.

Silverdale Cycles operates on Wednesdays from 5.00 to 7.30 and Saturdays from10.00 to 3,00
