Dave Youth Group
Dave youth group is a youth club for autistic young people in Wokingham Youth Centre.
Since we have started we have been able to play football and pool and socialised with peers. Its great fun and it gives us something to look forward to every week. We are able to socialise with other autistic young people and talk to the youth workers about what we have been up to.
We have learnt how to cook different meals and we now cook these meals at home. We have also been involved in planning trips to laser quest and Centre Parcs and have learnt new skills in doing this. Our confidence has grown since attending the group and I look forward to doing more trips and learning new skills.
