Cat Prowse gave it

To enable members of the Wokingham Youth Cafe and Africa Project to gain more skills required for their activities, we had a sleepover. We did a number of teambuiliding tasks that developed creative thinking, teamwork and leadership.

We also had session leader training for the cafe. This was acheived by doing a variety of role play scenarios. Each one had extreme cases which everone forund hillarious, especially because of our great drama skills!

We had a great time socialisng with everyone, particularly after a few games of truth or dare. After all, a sleepover just wouldn’t be complete without it!

This weekend has been fun and enjoyable. I would recommend it to other people involved in projects throughout the youth centre. It’s been a great way to get closer to everone in these projects and hope to do it again some time! :)
