Sleepover for Youth Cafe and Africa Project
Cat Prowse gave it

To enable members of the Wokingham Youth Cafe and Africa Project to gain more skills required for their activities, we had a sleepover. We did a number of teambuiliding tasks that developed creative thinking, teamwork and leadership.
We also had session leader training for the cafe. This was acheived by doing a variety of role play scenarios. Each one had extreme cases which everone forund hillarious, especially because of our great drama skills!
We had a great time socialisng with everyone, particularly after a few games of truth or dare. After all, a sleepover just wouldn’t be complete without it!
This weekend has been fun and enjoyable. I would recommend it to other people involved in projects throughout the youth centre. It’s been a great way to get closer to everone in these projects and hope to do it again some time!
