Y10
Y10 is a group of young people from the Wokingham borough that meet up once a month to discuss various topics that fit young people’s interests. It’s also interesting to see what other people think and how much they know about things that are happening around them that you yourself may have never heard of.
As well as being provided with a lovely selection of biscuits and juice, there is a lot of creative discussion given by us youths. We discuss some awesome topics like what the council should improve about education and career opportunities, it’s surprising just how many if’s and maybe’s come into the conversation before a final decision is made, which keeps us busy.
Y10 hosted a backchat event in November last year which ran really well, lots of young people attended and we’re currently planning the next one to be bigger and better.
