Youth Opportunities Fund 2012
Youth Opportunities Fund 2012
Have an idea on how to improve things for young people to do?
Need some funding?
Well we can help! !
YOF grant is open to groups of young people between the ages of 13-19 (up to 25 for those with learning or physical disabilities) who would like funding for a project that benefits young people.
We have a total of £5,000 to give out, less money than in the past, so competition for a share of the funds is expected to be strong.
In the past we have funded projects such as youth shelters, skills building classes, arts and drama workshops, cultural events, bike workshops, music projects, young parents’ project and many more! Any and all ideas are welcome; we want to fund as many projects as possible.
As always there are conditions, these are some of the key ones:
· The projects or activities must have access to a club or organisation bank account, which is not a personal one.
· It must take place in the Wokingham Borough and be led by young people who live or go to school in the borough.
· £2,000 is the maximum per application, though projects requesting less are welcome!
It is strongly recommended that you read the YOF Application Notes, as these outline all the information you need to maximise your chances of securing YOF funding. Closing date: Monday 13 February 2012.
