Youth Forums
Youth forums are a way that young people can get involved on issues that affect them and they want to take action on.
Young people across the borough have expressed a strong interest at having more opportunities to get involved in issues that affect them. There is one youth forum for young people in Wokingham and the South East area of the borough, one for young people in Earley and the south West area of the Borough and one for young people in Woodley and the northern parishes – all of the forums are aimed at young people aged 13 -19.
The aim of the neighbourhood youth forums is to enable young people from schools, youth clubs, church groups, community groups and voluntary organisations to meet together and get their opinions heard about issues that are affecting the areas they live or study in.
If you are interested in getting involved – please contact Catriona MacMillan, Participation Worker on 0118 908 8236 or catriona.macmillan@wokingham.gov.uk
