Takeover Day – Transport
We have been talking with Matt Davey about transport and future tranpsort, then presented our findings.
Understanding prices of roadworks and maintenance really gave me an insight as to how the council works in terms of budget and the possible ways the council can spend it.
Also, I really understood how a council works and the processes. I now get that it takes more than just a day to approve something.
We got to sit in a meeting which was very beneficial as I got a clue as to the different things that the council has to deal with, like signs, lines, roadworks and more.
I do reccommend it as its a good experience and a good oportunity to give your views on a topic.
